The Big Idea
It was the winter of 2002, and Josh and Amy were in Fargo ND
visiting family. Looking for a good cup of coffee they happened
upon a coffee drivethru. What luck! Great coffee without having to
step out into the North Dakota winter!
On the drive back to Kansas City, they wondered why there was
no such thing in Kansas City and resolved to make it happen.
After lots of research (and coffee!) they found a great location.
They opened the first JAVA GOGO in April 2006.
Since opening, the response has been amazing. Thousands of
people have made JAVA GOGO a part of their day. Whether it’s a
latté or mocha, a fruit smoothie or just a good old cup of brewed
coffee, Kansas Citians know where to go for a great drink without
ever having to get out of their cars!
